Sleep when you're dead!

So we have been really busy the past couple weeks with homework and stuff.  Sometimes it seems like all the teachers get together and plan to make everything due at the same time just to keep you on your toes... or stress you out to the point that you wanna rip your hair out. Does it ever seem like that to you? I had a couple of tests and an 8-page paper due this week that totally stressed me out.
Well anyway, last weekend we were able to have a fun little getaway when our friend Lauren invited us and two other couples to stay overnight at her parents' 2nd home in St. George.  We really were only there for less than twenty-four hours but it still was so fun. Just short and sweet. The house was so nice! It had six bedrooms and six bathrooms, two kitchens, a pool table, a ping pong table, a projector, a swimming pool, a hot tub, and a bunch of card decks.  We stayed up until like two in the morning playing the card game scum and pigging out on oreos and sugar babies. Then the next day we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and it was of course delicious.  Then we had to go back to real life... blah.
Oh funny story! So the other day I wanted to have some spaghetti squash with dinner so I called my sister and asked how to make it.  She told me I should poke holes all over the rind and microwave it for 6 mins. per pound.  Well I did that and when there was thirty seconds left on the microwave, the squash exploded!! Our microwave flew open from the pressure and squash flew across our whole kitchen. I wanted to cry at the time but it is funny now. 
In other news:
My sister finds out what sex of her baby is this Thursday! Cross your fingers for a girl!
Ben graduates in less than a month!
In a few weeks Ben's work is paying for a weekend getaway to Park City!
aaaannnddd I have already started listening to Christmas music. I love it.
