Yesterday was our 1 year anniversary! I can't even believe I've been married for a year, it has gone by so fast.
We decided that since we just got back from cancun, we wouldn't go too big for our anniversary. So Saturday morning I woke up and Ben had bought me flowers :) We went and picked up our Bountiful Basket and then made waffles- my favorite.
Then we watched the world cup cause Ben wanted to. (I know its not the most romantic thing but I figure it is his anniversary too.)
After that we drove down to St. George and saw the movie Babies. It was cute. (This was at my request and Ben made me buy the tickets cause he was embarrassed.)
Then we went to dinner at this restaurant called the Painted Pony that we have been wanting to try for awhile but its a bit pricey so we saved it for a special occasion. The restaurant knew it was our anniversary so they gave us some free drinks and chocolates. It was great.
After that we went to the sweet tooth fairy (they just opened a new location in St. George) because I had been wanting to go there forever and get a cupcake. We ended up taking home 4 cupcakes and half a dozen cake bites haha! They sure are tasty... maybe no sugar for a couple weeks now.
And that was that. It was a fun, romantic day. I love my hub and can't wait to celebrate many many more anniversaries with him.
