Love letter to Hub

Lately I've been thinking about how important it is to focus on the positive in life, if you don't, life isn't very enjoyable. I've been noticing that in these last few months of school before graduation, I have been very sluggish and negative. I have also been thinking about how it is important to focus on the positive in myself and my spouse. And although it isn't all rainbows and butterflies at our house or in our marriage (and I have no interest in portraying that persona), I just want to write a little list of the things I love about my Hub.

- He is a hard worker. Tonight, his teacher assigned an 8-page paper due by midnight. Who does that? So Hub is locked in the other room slaving away. This is after he has worked all day. And let me tell ya, I would not want to do his job. It involves being on call 24/7, driving for hours on end, and going into the smelliest/nastiest houses on the planet.

-He tells me that making sure I'm taken care of is what motivates him to work so hard :)

-He scrapes my car off in the morning when it snows

-He loves my freckles more than anything

-I am always late and running out the door asking him to do things for me to cover my butt, and he does them. Even though he has things to do and places to go.

-He gets passionate about things that I'm passionate about. He is now a huge natural birth advocate :)
He also thinks pregnant bellies are the cutest thing ever, so do I.

-He is my best friend. I can tell him anything and everything, and I'm always excited to get home to him.

-He loves me even when I have morning breath and look like a lion.

-He tells me that I'm smart and that I should go to medical school. Its nice to know he'd support me if I wanted to do that.
-He likes to be goofy and have fun. He forces me to not be so high-strung and that's good for me.

-He carries me into the room at night when I'm too tired to move, even though he's tired too.

-He puts up with my cheesy comments like, "My hero!" while he is carrying me.

-He laughs at me. I like it when I'm not the only one who thinks I'm funny.

-And last but not least, I love that he's famous.

Whoa, in that bikini shirt picture he looks EXACTLY like MM. I loved his comment when I told him that once: "I invented Matthew Maconaughey." Or however you spell it.
