So on Friday my mom called and told me that my grandpa's first cousin died and they were having a funeral in Las Vegas on Sunday. They said that they would be coming down for it and wanted to know if Ben and I wanted to come with. Well we decided that Vegas is always fun even if its for a funeral. So we invited our friends Kai and Karlee to go with us and it was a party!
We drove down on Saturday stopping in St. George for some lunch at Benja's (dang good thai place mmmm) and went shopping at the Fashion Show Mall once we got to Vegas. I got a new purse and a dress :) Then that night my parents took us all to the Village Seafood Buffet at the Rio. I kid you not, Ben and Kai each ate about 10 lobster tails and 40 crab legs, Karlee wasn't too far behind either haha. We got into the buffet at 7 and left at about 10... thats a lot of eating. (I wish so badly that I had a camera so that this blog would be more entertaining and I would have proof of this but I don't)
We stayed at my sister's house that night and then went to the funeral in the morning. It wasn't really a funeral it was more like a family get together with food catered by the Olive Garden! It always seems like our vacations or getaways revolve around food... haha. It totally messed up my homework schedule and I was so worn out from it that I fell asleep at 9 last night. But it was fun and worth it!

Vegas was a lot of fun and definately worth the trip. I hope there is another party soon! =)
