The mister and I eat this oatmeal almost every morning and it never seems to get old.
1 C Water
1 C Milk (I use rice milk)
1 C Oatmeal (old fashioned oats)
2 T Peanut Butter
Cinnamon, to taste
Bring water and milk to a boil on high in a medium saucepan. (Watch this carefully because once it starts to boil it rises fast!) Add oats, peanut butter, and cinnamon. Stir continually for 1 min. and then reduce heat to medium. Continue to cook for 1 min. and then serve. I top ours with ground flax seed and honey.
