Nomenclature

Ok so I feel like I update my blog way more than anyone reads it. Especially since we went private ha. But I thought this was funny so I wanted to post it.

So because our friends are pregnant with a boy and my sister is having a boy, it has gotten Ben and I talking about what we would want to name our future boy(s).  We both really like short names and we both actually really like the name Jack, which is what my sister is naming her baby. He's pretty sad that she took that one.

So we were talking about it and I ended up shooting down almost every name that Ben would suggest because there was already someone in my family with that name.  After like the 15th time of this happening Ben started to get really bugged. 

He was like "It's not fair, every name that I like is taken by your gigantic family." 

and then he said,

"We are naming a boy Max because that is my favorite name and I don't care if someone in your family has it."

Ha well I have a problem with that because my cousin that I grew up with has a one year old named Max and I just cant copy her. So I explained that to him and he said "Well sweet every single good name will be taken by someone in your family by the time we actually have kids." Haha I just thought it was so funny.  

But seriously, when it comes time for us to have kids we are gonna be in trouble with names.  Good thing I don't have to worry about it for a few years. :)

Oh, also Ben likes the name Bruce. Well the local news anchor that I grew up watching is named Bruce Lindsey and I would just feel like I was naming my child after him. Plus I just don't like that name. No offense to any Bruce's out there.
