Have you read this article? It's kinda funny. And pretty dead on (except for some of the stuff about the "pressures" of being Mormon, I don't feel any of that).
Also, have you seen this? Why is it that I just found this website today? It's pretty dang hilarious.
I think we have all kind of had thoughts like TAMN before. You know, that blogland is a little bit ridiculous. I know that I have gagged a few times while reading blogs that are so cheesy you'd think their whole life was just butterflies and rainbows. I'm not really into portraying that whole persona. It's not real and it's just not me.
If you think about it, blogging is really quite self-absorbed. Especially if you are a lifestyle blogger (like me) who just blogs about their life and expects other people to care. It's also pretty funny that all these girls now days think they are fashionista's and post daily outfit pictures of themselves. I mean, you can't really get more self-absorbed than thinking your outfit is so cute you need to share it with everyone (P.S. please don't stop posting outfit pictures just because I said that, I use you all for inspiration). But for some reason, we all eat it up. And blog stalk for hours on end.
Kinda makes me want to start a blog that has an actual purpose. Like helping African children with AIDS or something. Except I've got no idea how that would help, or how to go about doing it.
Hmmm...someday...

p.s. the first site you posted made me feel all proud that i'm mormon... and have a blog. haha. i'm lame.
