This has been an eventful week:
1. I quit my job. I was way too stressed out. I'm sure no one saw that one coming.. haha
2. Ben and I switched to a family ward! And we love it!
3. I dyed my hair back to brown!
Ok so not that eventful... but kinda.
So again about our new ward... We were going to a student married ward but just didn't feel like it was a real ward or like we were really connecting with people so we decided to try out a family ward instead.
The family ward starts at 9:00 so this is a sacrifice but we decided to do it anyway and... we are so glad we did because it is such an awesome ward! We already feel so welcome and we've only been once! The second that sacrament got over a cute little old man came up and started chatting us up and telling us where to go, then when we turned around the bishop was right there waiting for his turn and he seems like a stud.
Later on Sunday the EQP came to visit and welcome us and then just tonight the relief society presidency dropped by as well... and brought me some cute magnets! It is a super small ward because they were split and are so small they would be a branch if they weren't already a ward. So basically they are SO happy to have new people come in and especially young couples. The EQP told us they have been praying that some couples going to the student ward would switch and he believes he prayed us there.
Nothing like that to make you feel welcome and wanted huh?
I'm excited to go to church again on Sunday... and that is a good feeling.
I'm also excited for the SUPERBOWL!
