The more I learn the more I realize how little I know

Isn't it funny how when you are a little kid you think your parents are gods. 

It's like your mom and dad know everything and solve everything. 

It also doesn't occur to you that they have a life of their own. 

It's like they were put here just to cater to your every need. 

It also doesn't occur to you that they were once young and in love and spontaneous...

That they once had big dreams.

You don't realize that they are so obsessed with you as their child and love you more than you ever thought possible.... That you will never know possible until you have children of your own.

You don't realize that the first time you utter the words "I hate you" it breaks their heart... and they have to go in the other room and cry.

Its funny how as I get older, I think about these things.

Once upon a time our parents were crazy obsessed kids in love just like Ben and I. 

I watch our friends that are pregnant and I just feel like they are so young and it's so crazy that they are actually gonna have a baby. 

And the thing is they really aren't too young at all... 28 and 24 are good ages. And that made me realize that all parents are that way. 

Just a cute little family unit. 

No one really knows what they are doing as parents because you are young when you become them. You just have to make it up as you go along. 

This might not be so true for my parents because they were a bit older when they had me and I'm the youngest. 

But now I'm realizing that when I was in kindergarten a lot of my friend's mom's were only a few years older than I am now.  

And I thought they were so old, it's crazy. 

This probably doesn't make sense to anyone else and I'm just rambling. 

I guess i'm just realizing how oblivious i've been haha. 

Anyway...

Updates:

Ben got food poisoning this week and was super sick for a day and a half. Luckily I didn't have school til 4 on Thursday and was here to take care of him. 

We were asked to talk in church on the 28th... yay. 

That's about it....
