...and I will never be able to get my hair to look like hers.
So as all of you know, my curling iron broke last night (if you don't know, you aren't a faithful reader...psh). This posed a problem when I woke up this morning to get ready for church. I couldn't straighten it cause my hair doesn't straighten after being curled and visa versa. And washing my hair was out of the question (duh, I only do that like twice a week). So I had the great idea to just do the "Audrey Hepburn" bun that I found on this tutorial.
Well... it didn't work. I either just can't pull it off or I didn't do it right. I got done and Hub laughed at me and kept saying, "It's just really high." I said, "No, it's like Audrey Hepburn." But he continued to laugh at me and say, "No, you look cute. Really!" making me feel very self-conscious about it. I had a miniature melt-down (I have those sometimes) and we missed sacrament. There was no time to change my hair cause we had to be to the second hour of church, so I just went, looking like a fool and feeling very self-conscious about it.
When primary let out, I went to meet up with my husband and found him talking to a few of our favorite wardies. The wife said, "Wow your hair looks cool! It's like Audrey Hepburn." I was immediately suspicious and said, "Did Ben tell you to say that?" She said that he didn't but I'm still not so sure. Then as we were walking out to the car I said, "See Ben, Liz thinks I look like Audrey Hepburn." To which he replied, "She was just being nice." Is he a pill or what?
Don't worry, it was all in good fun. Second row in a week my hair has looked horrid at church. Awesome.

HA HA! you are so funny. I actually think it looks cute too. It is high but its supposed to be. I love her too much. After having Max and realizing I never have time to do anything unless I wake up pretty early. I feel like my hair goes looking less than cute more and more.
Man, I totally meant to tell you your hair looked cute today! And then by the time I got the chance I must have forgotten. I didn't think it looked anything out of the ordinary. I wouldn't have thought you'd feel self-conscious about it! Ben!!

I completely missed church Sunday cuz i had run out of conditioner! My hair looked horrible and frizzy.. so i made my husband teach our class alone.. haha us girls and our hair!!
