It was for a good cause

As I'm sure you all know, that phrase justifies anything.

For example...

You could donate some of Hub's shirts that you don't like to a drive asking for "new or gently used" clothing to give to the homeless.

You could buy $100 worth of stuff at a garage sale for charity.

You could go to the gymnastics fundraiser and buy lots of pizza instead of cooking dinner.

And last but not least, you can go get ice cream at 9 PM when you should be writing your paper that is due the next day, and you can upgrade it to a regular size instead of your usual small because 15% of your sale goes to charity.

Yep, you are justified in doing any of those things, if it is for a good cause. Although, some people might accuse you of having ulterior motives.

Disclaimer: Some or all of the events listed above may or may not have actually taken place in my life. Except the last one. That happened last night.
