Why we are perfect for each other

Today, as I was walking to the library on my break between classes, I started thinking about how blessed I am. And how even though I'm not that great of a person and really do nothing to deserve it, I continue to be blessed. I started thinking that I wish I could spend my life traveling from place to place, serving people in each area. If I could do that, then perhaps I could repay some of my blessings.

Fast forward to lunchtime.

As Hub and I are chatting over some chips and salsa, he tells me about how he was looking at some pictures of the people in Haiti, 10 months after the earthquake. He said it looks exactly the same as it did right after the quake and it made him want to cry. The people are still suffering, but many have forgotten. And then he said this, "I wish we could just spend our lives traveling around, doing service for those in need."

I fell in love all over again. And that, my friends, is why we are perfect for each other.

Done and done.

Hey! I might be going with on a christian mission trip to Haiti this summer so if you don't end up going to France, I'm sure you could come with. It's like 1000-1500 dollars for 10 days...

That would be sweet. I would need to do something with all the money we are saving up if we don't end up going to France ha. We seriously want to get a job like AYS so we can just go do service but have our expenses paid.
