A blogging award? You gone and did make me blush.
I don't think that stylish is a word that has ever been used to describe me before. In fact this little scenario went down today in class:
My friend Abby: "Sydney are you trying to make up for the rest of the school year or something? Cause you've looked really cute these past two days."
Me:"... Um... thanks? I think."
So what if I don't get ready for class 99% of the time, I have class at eight and I like my sleep. And so what if that sometimes carries over to work as well, I work at a health foods store, if I don't get ready people will just think I'm a hippie. Which I am. Kinda.
Back to the subject at hand. Lindsay over at scenic glory passed this little stylish blogger award on to me.
I couldn't be more flattered. Especially considering that Lindsay has the cutest blog ever and her design work on buttons is unsurpassed. You outta check her out if you haven't yet.
Well, as part of this little award I am supposed to list seven random facts about myself and then pass it on to some of my favorite bloggers. So let's hop to it:
1. I'm Bulgarian. Well, 25% anyway. And yes, I've been there. Three times to be exact. No, I don't speak the language (unless you include counting to 10). It is located just above Greece. And yes, I've been there too.
2. My parents are 27 years apart. All together now, "27 YEARS???" Yes. That is what I said, it's not a type-o. I guess this isn't really about me directly, but I'm counting it anyway.
3. I've taken five and a half years of french classes, yet I don't feel confident speaking it at all. Good thing I married a man who speaks it fluently.
4. I'm obsessed with all things birth and babies. Always have been. From the time I was ten I planned on being a "baby doctor" when I grew up... then I realized how much school that takes and changed my mind.
5. I can do the splits on my right side. Probably not that impressive to you all, but I worked hard to become this flexible and I'm proud of it.
6. I have a big birthmark on my stomach in the shape of a "D." I don't even notice it anymore, but I do recall being asked in the junior high locker room, "Whoa, are you like half black and half white?." ... Um, no.
7. I pretended to have trouble seeing the board in sixth grade so that I could get colored contacts. I think it ultimately made my vision worse.
So there you have it, a few facts about me. Now, I'm not sure if there is a specific number of bloggers I'm supposed to pass this to, but I'm going to choose seven:

first off...i like your reference to pretending not to be able to see so you could wear colored contacts. i thought the same thing...i ended up with glasses...fail!!!
my mom and step dad are 12 years apart...not quite 27 but it is still a gap not the less :)
